Aramark UK is searching for an experienced General Manager to lead our team sitting within the Education division. This role provides an exciting opportunity to manage operations and financial performance at one of our central London sites.

 

This role is predominantly Mon-Fri with some evening and weekend work required for hospitality events.

A day in the life of a General Manager:

  • Build relationships: Connect with stakeholders and attend regular meetings to ensure great service and collaboration
  • Lead your team: Inspire your team to do their best and feel confident in their roles
  • Oversee operations: Keep daily operations running smoothly and make sure everything meets high standards
  • Host amazing events: Plan and manage hospitality for events and functions, creating memorable experiences
  • Manage the numbers: Handle budgets, meet food and labour targets
  • Keep it safe and clean: Ensure everything is spotless and safe by following all procedures and guidelines

You'll be set up for success if you have:

  • Worked as a General Manager in an education setting or high-quality catering environments
  • Food Hygiene Certificate Level 3
  • Experience leading and motivating a team
  • Excellent commercial acumen
  • A passion to provide outstanding customer service
  • Fresh ideas to inspire your team and improve the experience
  • A personal alcohol licence (preferable)
