What you'll be doing

  • Assist Senior Chefs in whichever section they are designated to. 
  • Preparing dishes and cooking using recipe cards
  • Comply with all relevant food safety legislation
  • Supporting with food orders
  • To work in a clean and tidy manner
  • Check all food is compliant with allergens
  • Putting away deliveries and following the FIFO method
  • Assisting in daily and weekly kitchen deep cleans
  • Counter serving

Experience

  • Chef experience at commis level 
  • NVQ Qualifications 1 and 2 essential
  • Previous experience of working in a kitchen 
  • Allergen awareness (i.e Natasha’s Law), full training will be given
  • Excellent team player and communicator
