Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Catering and Hospitality Assistant to join the team at Royal Hospital for Neuro-disability, SW15 3SW.

Job Responsibilities

    • Provide professional, friendly, and efficient service to patients, visitors, and staff. 
    • Respond promptly to requests and resolve minor issues effectively. 
    • Prepare, present, and serve food and drinks to high quality standards. 
    • Set up and clear dining areas, functions, and hospitality events as required. 
    • Process cash and card transactions accurately. 
    • Balance tills and maintain knowledge of menus, pricing, and promotions. 
    • Follow food safety procedures, temperature monitoring, stock rotation, and labelling requirements. 
    • Complete daily cleaning schedules and maintain clean work areas and equipment. 
    • Adhere to health and safety regulations, company standards, uniform requirements, and mandatory training. 
    • Complete required documentation, including service diaries and shift records. 
    • Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth service delivery. 
    • Prepare catering trolleys, equipment, and supplies for daily service and special events, while demonstrating flexibility and initiative. 

Key Requirements:

  • • Friendly, positive and customer-focused approach with good communication skills. 
    • Able to work effectively as part of a team in a busy, fast-paced environment. 
    • Reliable, punctual, flexible and willing to support different catering areas. 
    • Good attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness and presentation. 
    • Willingness to learn barista skills and prepare beverages to Starbucks standards. 
    • Basic food hygiene/allergen/Health & Safety awareness desirable; full training provided. 
    • Able to follow instructions, procedures and company standards. 
    • Willing to complete required online training and safeguarding requirements.
