Hours: 20 hours per week, Monday to Friday - 6:45am – 10:45am
Term Time Only: 36 working weeks (Total paid weeks: 40.3)
Hourly Rate: £13.85
Annual Salary (Equated): £11,163.10
Are you an early riser looking for a part-time role in a dynamic, supportive environment? We’re looking for a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our team at Waltham Forest College, helping to keep our kitchen running smoothly and efficiently during busy morning hours.

What You’ll Be Doing:
- Supporting kitchen operations with general cleaning duties and dishwashing.
- Receiving and organising deliveries and assisting with stock movement.
- Carrying out basic food preparation as required by the kitchen team.
- Ensuring all kitchen and back-of-house areas are kept clean and safe at all times.
What We’re Looking For:
- Previous kitchen experience is a bonus, but not essential – full training will be provided.
- A strong work ethic and willingness to get involved in a variety of kitchen tasks.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to follow hygiene and safety procedures consistently.
- An Enhanced DBS check is required for this role.
