Job Description

Are you an experienced operations leader with a passion for delivering exceptional service, developing high-performing teams, and building strong client relationships? We are looking for a Support Manager to oversee a portfolio of Education & Healthcare contracts across the North and Northwest London region. Working closely with site teams, clients, and senior leaders, you will provide leadership and support across multiple locations, ensuring compliance, service quality, and commercial success. This is a permanent and full time role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and support multiple catering operations across the North and Northwest London region, ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality food, service, and hygiene standards.

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, regularly engaging with stakeholders to understand their needs, drive satisfaction, and identify opportunities for business growth.

  • Monitor and manage financial performance, including budgets, forecasts, profit and loss accounts, cost controls, and achievement of agreed financial targets.

  • Provide leadership, coaching, and development to site managers and teams, ensuring high levels of engagement, performance, and succession planning.

  • Ensure compliance with all Aramark policies, food safety requirements, health and safety legislation, and client-specific standards through regular audits and operational reviews.

  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training, performance management, and employee relations activities in partnership with HR.

  • Produce and present accurate management information, operational reports, and business performance updates to clients and senior leadership.

  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives across locations, maximising operational efficiency, resource utilisation, service quality, and commercial performance.

Key Requirements

  • Proven experience managing multi-site catering, food service, hospitality, or retail operations, with responsibility for operational and financial performance.

  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to manage budgets, analyse financial data, forecast P&L performance, and drive profitability.

  • Excellent leadership and people management skills, with experience coaching, developing, and motivating management teams.

  • Sound knowledge of food safety, health and safety legislation, and compliance requirements, including Food Hygiene Level 3 certification or equivalent.

  • Outstanding communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients, colleagues, and senior leaders.

  • Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, with the capability to manage multiple priorities, deliver results, and drive continuous improvement across a portfolio of sites.
