Title:  Food Service Assistant

Job Description

We have a fantastic opportunity for two Food Service Assistant’s to join an extremely successful team at the at the Thiepval Barracks, Lisburn, BT28 3ND.
You will support in an efficient and smooth operation and in our goal to deliver a World-Class service, your goal is to exceed customer expectations and provide a “wow” factor in the while maintaining consistency high standards of client and customer service.

A day in the life of a Food Service Assistant:

•    Prepare and serve food and beverages to customers 
•    Operating tills and handling cash
•    Ensure to Follow HACCP policies and keeping records up to date.
•    Clean back of house areas crockery and cutlery 
•    Clean and tidy counter, light equipment/machines, food preparation and public areas
•    Restock goods and ensure appropriate displays of merchandise
•    Follow food hygiene and safety procedures
•    Report to line manager any feedback, complaints, suggestions, stock needs, breakages, faults or hazards identified during the course of the work

You'll be all set up for success if you have:

•    Pervious experience preferable but not essential as full training will be provided
•    Food Hygiene and food safety is desirable.
•    Able to take initiative with a task or situation
•    A DSB check required If the candidate is successful
•    Basic Computer skills (works, excel, emails,)
