Title:  General Assistant

Job Description

We are currently recruiting for an General Assistant to join our talented Team at Limerick College of Further Education. You will support an efficient and smooth operation and our goal to deliver a World-Class service. Your goal will be to exceed customer expectations and provide a “wow” factor in the cafe while maintaining consistency high standards of client and customer service. 

We are offering an hourly rate of €11.50 on a 35 hours a week contract and it is predominantly Monday to Friday with the occasional evening work. 

Job Responsibilities

·    Supporting with the planning and delivery of efficient day to day running of the units
·    Ensure that all Food and Beverage staff and volunteers are recruited, trained and managed
·    Stock rotation and receiving deliveries
·    Ensure the Food and Beverage Team is delivering the highest standard of customer service, ability to respond to customer needs and feedback.
·    Front of house, including till work and processing with customer’s orders. 
·    Ensure all admin, operating processes, security, and health and safety adhere to Food Safety Policy procedures.

Qualifications

·    Experience in a hospitality/ F&B role
·    Ability to plan and prioritise your workload, problem solve and be able to work on your own initiative.
·    Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to share knowledge with confidence and enthusiasm.
·    Experience in a similar is desirable but not essential as full training will be given
