Title: Point of Sales Architect

Aramark UK is currently recruiting for an experienced Point-of-Sale Architect. This role will manage a portfolio of change initiatives and develop IT POS strategies to align with business goals. Acting as a liaison between IT and business teams, they will drive the implementation of POS changes, fostering innovation through technology.
The role involves collaboration with various business, operational, and IT stakeholders, including vendor partners, and overseeing the selection, implementation, and support of POS solutions. Additionally, the architect will focus on continuous improvement and technical debt remediation. This position requires both operational and strategic expertise, with hands-on experience to support junior staff and drive the strategic agenda.

Key responsibilities:
• Work closely with the Innovation and growth technology team.
• Act as the Subject matter expert for client facing technology solutions in the UK.
• Research and Development in the areas of client facing technology trends and direction globally.
• Work closely with the INTL Consumer Facing Technology team to develop a deep understanding of current and emerging technology offerings including features and benefits.
• Provide digital consultative services to differentiate Aramark in its business development efforts, helping articulate how consumer facing technology offerings can meet customer needs and drive business results for clients.
• Lead strategic engagements that derive insight and provide recommendations to the business in quality presentations to improve retail and / or service performance.
• Work closely with national marketing manager and regional marketing managers to continually drive awareness, adoption, and usage of digital solutions.
• Distribute measurement dashboards and provide input on what needs to be measured and reported.
• Supporting all key mobilisations at the operational and strategic level – developing and implementing appropriate POS technology support models meeting the business requirements and cost expectations.
• Ensure all solutions have an end to end, fully supported sustainable operating model
• Assist in the development of the Aramark IT value proposition, serve as an IT representative in assigned existing client and new business development presentations.
Key Requirements:
• Good understanding of PCI (Payment Card Industry) technology and audits
• Understanding of penetration testing and security considerations relating to client facing technology
• Vendor / Stakeholder / Project management
• Experience in IT roadmap/strategy development and execution
• Highly collaborative
• Excellent communication & presentation skills both orally and via written form
• Own Car with full driving license.
• Oracle Simphony experience desirable
• Experience of other hospitality EPOS vendors
• APIs/Integrations
