Are you an analytical, curious and commercially minded auditor looking to make a real impact in a global organisation? Aramark UK is seeking a proactive Internal Auditor to join our European & Asia Audit team, providing independent assurance across a diverse and dynamic business.

Based in our Leeds office with hybrid working, this is a fantastic opportunity to work at the heart of a complex organisation—delivering meaningful audit work, investigating control risks, and influencing senior stakeholders. You’ll gain exposure to a wide variety of operational and head‑office environments, contribute to the annual audit plan, and support continuous improvement across the UK business.

This is a permanent, full time role which will be a remote position based ideally in Leeds. The postholder will be required to travel as and when required to fulfil the role.

Job Responsibilities

  • Plan and deliver risk‑based audits across head office and operational sites, ensuring high‑quality fieldwork and documentation.

  • Produce clear, concise audit reports outlining findings, root causes, and practical recommendations.
  • Engage with management to discuss audit results and support the development of effective action plans.
  • Conduct ad‑hoc reviews, investigations, and Business Conduct Policy enquiries as requested by the VP Audit Europe & Asia.
  • Assist external auditors during the annual audit process.
  • Provide advisory support to management on risk management, internal controls, and governance.
  • Stay current with internal audit standards, industry practices, and regulatory developments, contributing to continuous improvement of audit processes.
  • Build strong relationships with stakeholders across the business and support knowledge‑sharing within the UK and wider European/Asian audit teams.

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum two years’ experience in internal audit and/or external audit, with a solid understanding of accounting, auditing, and internal control principles.
  • Strong analytical, investigative, and problem‑solving skills, with the ability to assess risks and identify control weaknesses.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, able to present findings clearly and challenge stakeholders constructively.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and confidence working with data or analysis tools.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build effective relationships and work collaboratively across the business.
  • Flexible and proactive approach, with willingness to travel within the UK (approx. 20%) and occasional trips to the US.
