Title:  IT Project Manager

Requisition #:  633923
Location:

Leeds, LDS, GB

Career Area:  Corporate
Description:

Aramark UK is looking for a talented IT Project Manager to support the UK rollout of our new Time, Attendance, Forecasting & Scheduling (TAFS) system. You’ll help deliver Workforce Software (WFS) across the UK through phased deployments, working closely with HR, operations teams, and technology partners.

We’re looking for someone with experience managing large‑scale projects, ideally with PRINCE2, PMP, or similar methodologies. You should be confident overseeing budgets, tracking ROI, and ensuring projects stay on track.

This role also involves using AI‑powered tools to support planning, risk analysis, resource management, and reporting. You’ll use AI dashboards to streamline tasks, identify issues early, and keep each phase running smoothly.

If you’re a proactive Project Manager who enjoys driving digital transformation, we’d love to hear from you.

Please note, this is a 2-year FTC and a UK based role.

What we’re offering:

  • Competitive Salary
  • Defined contribution pension scheme and life assurance benefits
  • Generous annual leave that increases in line with service, with the opportunity to buy extra
  • Access to an employee benefit scheme that offers discounts across hundreds of retail and leisure providers
  • Employee Assistance Programme and in-house Mental Health Champions
  • FOOD! A plethora of opportunities to attend in-house events and try out the culinary genius of our teams (we are a food business after all!)

A day in the life of an IT Project Manager:

  • Lead end-to-end rollout of Workforce Software and integrated AI-enhanced solutions across the UK.
  • Coordinate wave-based implementation activities, ensuring delivery aligns with timelines, scope, and budget expectations.
  • Liaison between the various teams and stakeholders, including scheduling meetings, preparing meeting materials, and updating stakeholders.
  • Leverage AI-based tools to support project execution, including automating routine tasks, generating predictive insights, and improving visibility into project risks, timelines, and resource needs.
  • Apply Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement principles to identify process inefficiencies and implement data-driven solutions.
  • Integrate AI technology (e.g., predictive analytics, demand forecasting, intelligent scheduling) to optimize workforce management and enhance decision-making.
  • Partner with HR, Operations, IT, and third-party vendors to gather regional requirements, support system configuration, drive adoption, and measure business results after go-live.

You’ll be set up for success if you have:

  • 5+ years of project management experience, preferably in HR technology or workforce management solutions.
  • Proven success managing HR software implementations, preferably with Workforce Software or comparable platforms (e.g., Kronos, ADP, SAP Time Management).
  • Proficient in interpreting Power BI dashboards to extract actionable insights and guide strategic discussions around workforce initiatives, operational improvements, and performance outcomes.
  • Experience with AI applications in labour or workforce management is strongly preferred.
  • Certification or working knowledge in PMP, Lean Six Sigma, Agile, or similar process improvement methodologies.
  • Experience delivering large projects with a strong understanding of regional compliance and operational differences.
  • Familiarity with both agile and waterfall methodologies; PMP or PRINCE2 certification is a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; fluency in English is required.

If you are applying for this role and you already work for Aramark, you must notify your line manager before submitting your application.
