Job Description
We are on the hunt for a IT procurement & Asset Administrator, to join our team on an interim basis to cover maternity leave, who's seeking a new and challenging opportunity.
The Successful candidate will undertake duties relating to user account administration, following policies and procedures to ensure security and audit compliance. Relating to the lifecycle management for all managed IT assets including procurement, security, cost tracking, inventory, usage, and disposal. Responding to requests for IT services, promptly allocating requests as appropriate, maintaining accurate records, and informing users about the process and advising of actions taken. Along with Following agreed procedures, identify, register and categorise requests for IT assistance with respect to the Asset Management and User Account Administration areas.
A day in the life of a IT Procurement & Asset Administrator:
• Reviews, approves/rejects IT procurement requests
• Processing of IT invoices in line with company procedures
• Maintains accurate inventory of devices across the estate
• Manage service requests using company standard tools and processes
• Escalation of IT issues within the team
• Asset Lifecycle Management
• Perform any other reasonable duties consistent with the role as required
• Work to SLA thresholds
You'll be set up for success if you have:
• Good organisational, time management and prioritisation skills
• Strong written and verbal skills and the ability to produce clear and accurate documentation (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• The ability to communicate confidently and clearly to customers both face to face and over the telephone including at senior business level.

• Holds one’s self accountable for performance standards and demonstrates and champions behaviours in line with the service delivery strategy

• Willingness to travel as required to other company sites for the purpose of onsite support
Mandatory:
- Secondary School level qualification
- 1+ years working within an administrative capacity or within a technical services support desk
- Experience supporting Microsoft Office 2010 and newer
- Understanding of IT Service Management protocols
Desirable:
- ITIL Certified
- MCSA
- Previous experience using helpdesk applications
- Knowledge of IT hardware including PC’s laptops and mobile devices.
- Some post-18 education (Third Level Qualification)
