Now, we’re searching for a dynamic Head of HR to lead the people agenda for our fast growing Sports & Entertainment sector across the UK. In this influential role, you’ll shape and deliver the sector’s people strategy, blending strategic vision with hands‑on leadership. You’ll work closely with our UK HR Director and Sector MD to build a high performing HR function that fuels growth, empowers our large and varied workforce, and helps deliver the exceptional experiences Aramark is known for.

This is a permanent remote role with UK wide travel to our S&E sites. Our business operates regularly at evenings and weekends during mobilisation periods and may require overnight stays.

Job Responsibilities

  • Shape and deliver a sector‑wide people strategy with a supporting sector people plan
  • Lead workforce planning approaches for seasonal demand, event peaks, and rapid mobilisation
  • Drive high‑volume recruitment and onboarding for workers and employees
  • Lead on site TUPE activity on contract wins, losses and re‑tenders
  • Champion inclusion and wellbeing at work in high‑pressure, customer‑facing environments
  • Lead, develop and inspire geographically dispersed people operations team members

Key Requirements:

  • Experience in hospitality, contract catering, facilities management, retail, or another high volume service sector
  • Experience working with large flexible workforces
  • Commercially savvy and comfortable balancing people needs with cost and contract delivery
  • Enjoys being visible in venues, present, and close to operations
  • Enjoys working in a business where every day is different
  • Experience in sports, entertainment or major venues is desirable
