Aramark UK is currently recruiting for a new Cash & Bank Assistant to join our team in Leeds

 

The Cash & Bank assistant will assist in the completion of all UK Group cash, bank and treasury functions and reports into the UK Cash & Bank Manager.

 

This position will offer the opportunity of career progression within the Cash & Bank team and potentially across other areas of finance in the UK finance hub being developed as part of the current transformation process.

 

This is a permanent full-time position based at our Leeds office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily & monthly bank & balance sheet reconciliations including merchant services
  • Manage queries & payments
  • Assisting with cashflow forecasting
  • Administration of banking mandates
  • Prepare relevant bank journals
  • Resolve queries relating to reconciling bank items
  • Ability to identify process improvements and work with manager to implement
  • Assist in month end close
  • Other ad hoc duties as required

 

Key Requirements:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a similar role – bank reconciliation experience essential, treasury experience also preferable.
  • Strong proven balance sheet reconciliation skills essential.
  • Have excellent organisational skills
  • Strong MS office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word etc..)
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal
  • Proven record of meeting deadlines
  • Previous experience in ERP systems (Oracle advantage)
  • Strong knowledge of accounting
  • Ability to work within a fast paced and high volume environment
  • Demonstrate strong analytical skills
