We are currently recruiting a Chef to work with our team at DST Leconfield, HU17 7LX

• £21,699.60 (Currently being reviewed)
• Full time – 39 hours a week, 5 days over 7, multiple shifts ranging between 5.30am – 7pm on a rota basis

What you'll be doing

• You’ll be preparing and serving food to the highest standard
• Producing food in line with the recipe sheets
• Full knowledge of all menu items served
• Management of production and food levels to ensure minimal wastage
• Assisting in the compilation of all shift opening and closing checklists
• Discussing ideas or improvements with line manager
• Act as a trainer/ coach for new team members to learn procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks.
• Assist in daily and weekly kitchen deep cleans
• Undertake relevant training as required

Experience

• Food hygiene certificate level 2 or willing to work towards it on our e-learning platform
• Previous Chef experience desirable
• Good level of spoken English
• Security clearance checks are required
• A passion for food and service
• Flexible approach to hours and duties
• Willingness to undergo training as required
