Are you currently working as a Sous Chef but getting tired of the long hours, late night and early starts. Is the thought of yet another split shift making you start to think long and hard about working in this industry? I am currently recruiting a Sous Chef to join our dedicated team at our Leeds Trinity operation. You will be joining a great team and will be feeding students and college staff with both a limited breakfast service and a lunch service.
The ingredients for success
The role is varied, you may be prepping the deli bar, serving on a hot plate or cooking in the kitchens. The position has variation daily. The work life balance? How does working Monday to Friday sound, oh and the working hours are 0700 to 1430? No crazier late nights, no more splits, and now bringing a great work life balance to your profession.
What's in it for you
You will be working Monday to Friday (yes weekends off!!!). Your shift times are going to be approximately 0700 starts working until around 1530.The salary is £26,000, and you will be working a contracted 35-hour week. What you'll be doing
• To maintain food hygiene, service & presentation to standard
• Preparing food for Breakfast and lunch services, plus snacks
• Deliver first class food throughout service
• Support your culinary team in producing fabulous food offerings for our customers
Qualifications and experience needed
• Relevant culinary qualification
• 1+ years’ experience in a Professional kitchen.
• Experience in industrial catering.
• A passion for food and service
• Flexible approach to hours and duties
• Due to the nature of the site a full enhance DBS check will be needed
