We are currently recruiting for a Food Production Assistant to be a part of our team at Leeds Trinity University, Leeds, LS18 5HD

What you'll be doing

  • In this role you will be responsible for the high and efficient production of cold food items including sandwiches and salads, fruit and dessert pots, wraps, baguettes etc, ensuring our products meet our high standards of quality and safety.
  • Mainly preparing grab and go items
  • Prepare and assemble a variety of cold food items according to recipes and production schedules.
  • In addition to producing cold food, you will also be packaging food items and ensuring all H&S measures are followed when handling food.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work environment.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety and allergen legislation.

 

Experience

  • Previous experience in food production or similar role preferred.
  • Knowledge of food safety procedures
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and on own initiative
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills
