Senior Franchise Lead – Subway & Starbucks
Location: Hatfield, AL10 9AB (University of Hertfordshire)
Salary: £32,000 per year
Contract: Full-time, permanent

Are you ready to lead two globally recognised brands in a dynamic campus setting?
We're looking for a Senior Franchise Lead to manage our Subway and PTS Starbucks outlets at the University of Hertfordshire. This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated and experienced hospitality leader to take the reins of a busy, hands-on operation.

About the Role
As the Senior Franchise Lead, you'll take full responsibility for the day-to-day running of both outlets. You’ll manage a team of 8 staff, driving high service standards, ensuring operational efficiency, and delivering great experiences to students, staff, and visitors.
This is a hands-on management role requiring strong leadership, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee all operations across Subway and PTS Starbucks on campus
• Lead, support, and develop a team of approximately 8 staff
• Manage rotas, stock levels, budgets, and health & safety compliance
• Ensure brand standards are maintained and exceeded
• Drive performance and continuous improvement
• Deliver excellent customer service across both sites

What We’re Looking For

• Minimum 1 year of management experience in hospitality or a related sector
• Strong team leadership and staff development skills
• Experience in food and beverage operations
• Excellent organisational and communication abilities
• A proactive, flexible, and hands-on approach
• Brand experience (e.g., Subway, Starbucks, or other franchises) is desirable
