Campus Manager – University of Hertfordshire (AL10 9EU)
Salary: £36,000 per year
Start Date: August 2025
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week
Working Pattern: 5 days over 7 (including weekends), shifts between 8am – 10pm

Are you an experienced manager ready to lead a dynamic team in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment? We’re looking for a Campus Manager to join our team at the University of Hertfordshire and oversee our vibrant hospitality venues.

About the Role

• As Campus Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day running of:
• A busy campus restaurant
• Two coffee shops
• Events and hospitality services delivered across the week
• You’ll lead a team of around 25 staff, ensuring excellent service standards and smooth operations. This is a hands-on management role that demands strong leadership, flexibility, and a passion for delivering great experiences to students, staff, and visitors alike.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all hospitality outlets on campus
• Lead, support, and develop a team of 25 staff
• Manage rotas, stock, budgets, and health & safety compliance
• Deliver high-quality service for events and daily operations
• Liaise with university departments and stakeholders
• Drive continuous improvement across all sites

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum 3 years’ management experience (hospitality or similar sector)
• Proven ability to lead and motivate large teams
• Experience in events and food & beverage operations
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• A flexible, proactive attitude
