Are you currently working as a Kitchen Porter but wanting to expand your experience, and join a international catering and hospitality organisation? Would you like to be part of a team working in one of the UK’s most iconic educational settings?

We are currently looking for Kitchen Porters to join our team at Hartpury University, GL19 3BE.

The new flexible catering hub will be a superb modern facility with state-of-the-art technology and sustainable features, meeting both short and long term demands and objectives of Hartpury to provide a greatly improved catering service to staff and students.

What you'll be doing

  • To maintain food hygiene, service & presentation to standard
  • Cleaning the kitchen and ensuring all kitchen equipment is clean
  • Following the kitchen cleaning schedule
  • Support with food deliveries and putting stock away using the FIFO method
  • Collecting and washing up pots and pans
  • Ensuring the storeroom and fridges remain organised
  • Sanatising floors, work surfaces and walls
  • Working with the Kitchen team supporting the delivery of great food
  • Deliver first service to our team and our customers

Experience

  • A passion for food and service
  • Previous KP experience is desirable however full training will be given
  • Flexible approach to hours and duties
  • A DBS check is required for this role
