Title:  Catering Services Assistant

Aramark UK are currently recruiting a Catering Services Assistant to join our team working at Glasgow City centre, G2 8EX (there is no parking available).

You will be working as part of a fantastic team, serving customers, and providing excellent customer service throughout. You will be required to do basic food preparation and perform general cleaning tasks both back and front-of-house.

To be eligible for this role, due to the sector requirements: you must have been a UK resident for the past 5 years and have legal right to work in the UK and be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.

• This is a permanent position, 30 hours per week, Mon – Fri. Shifts times are 8:00am – 2:30pm leaving your evenings free.
• Hourly rate £12.21.

A day in the life of a Catering Services Assistant:

• Basic food preparation including sandwiches, grab and go items, basic hot food if required.
• Serving customers and operating the till, providing opportunities for upselling products, and ensuring you are always providing excellent customer service.
• Stocking up and putting away deliveries
• General cleaning back and front of house, making sure the unit is clean and tidy before, during and after service. 

You will be set up for success if you have:

• Must be able to pass full security vetting and DBS checks.
• Previous catering experience is desirable, however full training will be given on site.
