As a Duty Manager within our team here at University Hospital Galway, you will be helping us to deliver our catering services to those requiring the hospital's facilities. This is a very rewarding position for the right candidate, delivering not only meals but also a positive and engaging service to patients. Our interactions contribute hugely to the experience of those using the hospital services, and we aim to improve each service user's day through our interactions.

Job Responsibilities

• • Working one in three weekends with evenings off

  You must have:

  • Previous experience in a similar role or supervising in a fast-paced catering business. 
  • An interest in people and the drive to deliver exceptional service
  • A Strong background in hospitality or catering is essential. 
  • Excellent customer service & time management skills.
  • Knowledge of Food Hygiene including HACCP.
  • A problem-solving mind and solutions-orientated approach with a flexible can-do attitude.
  • Garda Vetting is a requirement for this role
