Aramark are currently recruiting for a Duty manager to join our team at one of our client site.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support the Ward Management Team and perform supervisory duties at Pantry Kitchen / Ward Level in the hospital.
  • Manage shifts when on duty. Covering rosters / service delivery / compliances.
  • Provide encouragement to Team Members, including communicating team goals and identifying areas for new training or skill checks are required.
  • Assist Ward Management Team with new team member training (under the Buddy System).
  • Answer Team Member questions, help with Team Member problems, and oversees Team Members work for quality compliance, when on duty.
  • Communicate deadlines and service goals to Team Members in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ensure Team Members adherence to company regulations and performance goals.
  • Conduct Team Meetings, with mentor group, to update Team Members on best practices and continuing expectations for service at Pantry Kitchen level.
  • Share comprehensive and detailed feedback about team performance / service delivery at daily briefings.
  • Ensure company (Aramark) brand materials and physical working spaces meet and exceed company presentation standards and are within HIQA compliance (90%).
  • Provide quality Patient Service, as per SLA, including interacting with patients, when required, answering Patients enquiries, and effectively handling Patient complaints.
  • Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture for the Team Members. 
  • Delegate tasks and ensure daily service timelines are met.
  • Oversee day-to-day operation at Pantry Kitchen level, with Ward Management Team.
  • Motivate Team Members.
  • Listen to team members’ feedback and resolve any issues or conflicts and feedback to Senior Management for follow-up.   
  • Organize workflow and ensure that Team Members understand their duties or delegated tasks.
  • Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching where required, based upon your experience.
  • Ensure adherence to legal and company policies and procedures and undertake disciplinary actions if the need arises.
  • Any other duties deemed appropriate or required by your Line Manager and or the company.
