A day in the life of a Strategic Sourcing Manager - Food service:

• Undertake sourcing (tendering and negotiation) of food products purchased via ARAMARK preferred distribution program(s), ensuring best value is obtained.
• Liaise with preferred distributors and manage their product lists, delivery service level, product service level etc.
• Supplier vetting, onboarding and contract preparation.
• Lead purchasing involvement in ARAMARK promotional programs and category management programs.
• Lead the test and feedback of proposed product changes via cross functional forums, Coordinate roll-out and monitor compliance to agreed programmes.
• Support operations teams in day to day queries and issue resolution.
• Ensure business compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Coordinate and support country evolvement in Global and European food related joint procurement initiatives.

You'll be set up for success if you have:

• Strategic and commercial knowledge to manage external spend of more than £15m
• Ability to manage budgets including applying ROI techniques to external purchases
• Experience in building best practice supplier sourcing processes
• Strong communication skills - written, oral, presentation and interpersonal skills
• Ability to represent the company at external meetings with suppliers and external experts
