  • Full time – 40 hours per week, Monday – Friday. 6am - 4pm

What you'll be doing

  • •Management of a kitchen, or team within a kitchen, to ensure tasks are appropriately allocated and team members are fully utilised
  • •Lead team to use best practice Food Production techniques in line with Aramark standard recipes, systems and brand standards
  • •Direct and coach team members to learn procedures and standards for all kitchen tasks, ensuring all training and development needs are met
  • •Assists with performance monitoring, record keeping, recruitment and development for direct reports 
  • •Determine the food offer to ensure it meets customers’ demands and is profitable
  • •Handle customer complaints
  • •Ensure complete compliance of team with food safety and health and safety legislation and in line with Aramark standards
  • •Report any incidents, near misses and health & safety issues to Unit Manager
  • •Responsible for shift opening and closing checklists
  • •Maintain good working relationships with all other members of the team
  • •Undertake relevant training as required 
  • •Place orders as required
  • •Carry out stock takes as required

Experience

  • Previous culinary experience(2-3 years) within catering or retail
  • Experience working in a busy kitchen
  • Must be eligible to work in the UK 
  • A great passion for food and service
  • Flexible approach to hours and duties
