Sous Chef – Edinburgh
Location: 1–3 Lochside Crescent, Edinburgh Park, Edinburgh, EH12 9SE
Salary: £33,000 per annum
Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Hours: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
(No weekends – occasional hospitality support as required)

Aramark UK is currently recruiting for a skilled and motivated Sous Chef to join our dynamic team at a large, high-profile workplace site in Edinburgh Park. With a weekday-only schedule, you’ll benefit from a consistent routine while delivering exceptional food and hospitality services to a busy, engaged clientele.
This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role in a modern, fast-paced catering environment that serves breakfast, lunch, and a wide variety of hospitality events — including everything from sandwich lunches to fine dining dinners.

Key responsibilities:
- Oversee kitchen production and service delivery to meet Aramark standards and client expectations
- Lead and support the kitchen team, creating a positive and performance-driven culture
- Drive innovation across the food offering and contribute ideas for new menus and services
- Deliver excellent hospitality experiences – from corporate lunches to formal dinners
- Ensure food safety, hygiene, and compliance standards are consistently met
- Collaborate closely with senior chefs to ensure smooth daily operations
- Build strong, positive relationships with both clients and internal teams

- Proven experience in a high-volume, multi-outlet catering environment
- Strong attention to detail and a process-driven, analytical mindset
- Calm and confident leadership style – able to motivate and support a busy team
- Creative approach with a passion for quality and innovation

About the site:
This is a vibrant and high-traffic workplace environment with a building population of approx. 1,900. Across multiple catering outlets, we serve breakfast, lunch, and a range of corporate hospitality functions. The team includes 29 catering professionals, and the site consistently sees a 55–62% footfall share.
