Contract Type: Zero-Hour Flexible Contract
Salary: £13.50 per hour + supplement
Working Hours: Variable shifts between 6am – 9pm, mainly weekends with potential weekday work during school holidays

We’re hiring flexible cooks/chefs to support our Short-Term Camps (STC) across Scotland. These camps serve cadet training units and require passionate culinary professionals who thrive in dynamic environments.
A Day in the Life of a Mobile Cook/Chef:
- Run standalone camp kitchens, cooking for cadet training camps (50–200 cadets)
- Load/unload food stores and manage stock rotation
- Liaise with cadet training units and STC management
- Maintain food safety standards and complete kitchen documentation
- Travel to various camp locations across Scotland
You’ll Be Set Up for Success If You Have:
- Eligibility to work in the UK and have resided for 3+ years (security clearance required)
- Relevant culinary qualifications (e.g., NVQ Level 2/3)
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for food/service
- Flexible approach to hours, duties, and travel
- Full UK driving licence (max 6 points)
- Basic Disclosure Scotland (funding available if needed)
