Location: Redford Barracks, Edinburgh, EH13 0PP  
Pay Rate: £13.01/hour (£25,116.92/annum) 
Hours: Permanent, full-time, 37 hours/week, Mon - Fri 
Shifts: Mon–Thurs, 0700 – 1500 and Fri 0700 - 1430 

We’re looking for a General Labourer to join our dedicated team at Redford Barracks. This is a hands-on role where you’ll play a key part in keeping the site running smoothly and looking its best.

What you’ll do: 

• Conduct daily vehicle checks, drive safely and legally, avoid overloading, and report defects immediately. 
• Follow all safety procedures, wear required PPE, maintain hygiene standards, and comply with health, safety, and fire regulations. 
• Carry out transport duties including waste removal, laundry collection/delivery, and assisting with loading/unloading. 
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and upkeep for vehicles, equipment, stores, buildings, and designated areas. 
• Support site operations by completing task sheets, managing equipment, reporting faults, assisting with fire checks, and handling customer interactions professionally. 

What we’re looking for: 

• UK residency for the past 5 years. 
• Legal right to work in the UK. 
• Ability to pass full security vetting and enhanced DBS checks. 
• Driving licence (essential). 
• Physically fit.
