Aramark UK is seeking a Front of House Manager to join our team at Aegon UK HQ in Edinburgh. 
In partnership with Aegon, Aramark is transforming employee dining at their flagship location this spring with a complete refurbishment of the catering facilities with many new F&B concepts.
The role involves overseeing a team of 20, working closely with the Group Executive Chef and Marketing Manager to implement innovative food and beverage services.

Key responsibilities:

  • Organise Team Members to deliver service effectively and monitor performance including performance feedback and conducting team appraisals.  Ensure all team members get involved and feel included
  • Encourage, receive and deal with customer feedback appropriately and ensure compliments are shared with the team and service improvements are realised
  • Organise monthly stock count and conduct appropriate brand standard  audits
  • Responsible for the recruitment and retention of Team Members and deals with performance issues in line with company guidance 
  • Identifies and supports Team Members who can and are willing to evolve their careers within Aramark
  • Train new Team Members to learn procedures and brand standards for all general tasks
  • Support the effective delivery of special functions or events
  • Champion excellent customer service and effectively implement all customer communication tools provided by Marketing in order to build sales 
  • Champion hospitality service delivery, and where possible liaise directly with customer to ensure full service delivery for events
  • With the support of the Executive Chef and Food Production team ensure all restaurant staff are knowledgeable of the food and beverage menus, promotional calendars; their contents, recipes, accompaniments and service.

 

You'll be set up for success if you have:

  • 2-3 years of management experience in a catering or retail environment, ideally within the employee dining sector.
  • Excellent numeracy skills; strong written and verbal skills
  • Self motivated
  • Ownership and accountability – makes decisions to resolve immediate issues
  • An energetic, enthusiastic, and friendly approach to customer service delivery
