Aramark UK are looking for a Front of House Manager to join their team at Aegon UK HQ, Edinburgh, EH12 9SE.

 

As part of its long-term relationship with Aegon, Aramark Workplace are transforming the employee dining facilities and experience at Aegon’s flagship HQ on the outskirts of Edinburgh.
The Transformation is a strategic move as part of Aegon’s Hybrid Working strategy and is designed to appeal to building occupiers on a number of different levels. Currently serving <1000 meals a day, it is expected the applicant will play a central part in increasing that number by at least a target 25% improvement, through strong food concepts, excellent service delivery and competitive pricing.

Working with the Group Executive Chef and Marketing Manager the successful applicant will lead the service teams and establish excellent new service offers based on Aramark’s innovative food and beverage concepts. 
On a day to day basis the new role will provide oversight and management of Front of House operations  - around 20 colleagues - to lead and uplift our team in our fast paced, multi-skilled environment, reflecting Aegon UK’s flagship status. Reporting to the Executive Chef ensuring that the food service runs smoothly and the customer experience is an exceptional experience. Whilst combining strategic planning and day to day management activities the role is business like and creative, particularly in terms of business development and service delivery.

RESPONSIBILITY FOR TRANSFORMED FACILITIES:

  • Food-court style restaurant servery with 350 seating capacity
  • Deli coffee shop with brand coffee and chef’s table. Seating capacity 120
  • Retail autonomous store
  • Management and Visitors hospitality with dedicated meeting rooms suite.’

 

You'll be set up for success if you have: 

  • Hospitality Degree or equivalent
  • Food Safety Level 3 
  • 2-3 years of management experience in a catering or retail environment, ideally within the employee dining sector. 
  • Excellent numeracy skills; strong written and verbal skills
  • Experience in leading teams
  • Experience in Client Relations.
