We are currently recruiting a Cleaning Supervisor to work with our team in Edinburgh, EH12 9SE

What you'll be doing

• To ensure cleaning supplies and equipment are used in the correct standard.
• Make sure clean and tidy working environment is achieved.
• Maintain a safe working environment when working is achieved.
• Performing department stock control and checks
• To ensure that all deadlines for completion of work are met.
• Deal with any client queries and make sure they are dealt with effectively and quickly ensuring client satisfaction.
• Cover in absence of cleaners
• To ensure that operatives duties are complete daily.
• All security procedures are followed correctly.
• To carry on relevant audits and checks.
• General cleaning of accommodation and office areas
• Rubbish disposal
• Clean designated areas and areas notified at short notice
• Ensure that all equipment is sorted correctly and is in good working order
• Report any equipment defects promptly
• Ensure that all deadlines for completion of work are met
• Ensure that any client queries are dealt with effectively and quickly ensuring client satisfaction

Experience

• Excellent team player
• Previous supervisory experience would be an advantage
• A general understanding of COSHH and H&S, BICSc standards training would be an advantage
• Basic understanding of MS office
• Flexible approach to duties with a can do attitude
• Be able to manage your work load in a good timescale
• A DBS check will be required for this role
