We are currently recruiting a Cleaner to work with our team at Dreghorn Barracks, Edinburgh, EH13 9QW

• Full time – 35 hours per week (can be negotiated)
• Monday – Friday, between 7am – 3pm but there can be slight movement in times if required

What you'll be doing

• General accommodation and office cleaning
• Clean designated areas and areas notified at short notice, ensuring a high degree of cleanliness and presentation is achieved
• Maintain a clean and tidy working environment
• General cleaning on site and around the building
• Ensure all designated areas are cleaned to the highest specification.
• Sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting etc.
• Ensure all equipment is used and stored as necessary
• Be familiar with health and safety practices
• Rubbish disposal
• Efficiently report any deficiencies or issues with equipment
• Check equipment is safe and working
• On occasion you may be required to work across the other 3 camps on site, candidate will be moved between the three depending on requirements.

Experience

• Previous cleaning experience would be an advantage but on the job training will be provided
• A customer focused can-do attitude.
• Good knowledge of COSHH
• Flexible approach
• BPSS and Basic Disclosure required
