Aramark UK is looking to hire an experienced and dedicated Deli Chef (Retail assistant) to join the fantastic team at our client site in Hampshire.
This is an exciting, permanent, and full-time opportunity reporting to the Lead chef on site. The role will assume responsibility for deli/salad food production, supporting both the retail operation and kitchen team daily.

A day in the life of a Deli Chef (Retail Asst) :
- Preparing sandwiches, paninis and salads etc. Serving customers, taking till card payments, and keeping accurate records.
- Receiving and putting out deliveries, restocking goods and ensuring attractive displays of merchandise
- Following food hygiene and safety procedures in line with health and safety requirements.
- Checking all food is compliant with allergens and Natasha’s law.
- Completing daily paperwork to cover due diligence.
- Checking, probing, and signing of all food deliveries, stock ordering, stock taking and maintaining kitchen records.
- Monitoring and recording temperatures of fridges, freezers, hot cabinets, and serveries.
- Assisting in daily and weekly kitchen deep cleans.
You will be set up for success if you have:
- Experience operating as a chef / cook
- Organised with a hands-on ability and strong work ethic
- Passion for people and food
