Title:  Maintenance Technician -Plumbing

Job Description

We are looking to recruit a Maintenance Technician - Plumbing in Dungarvan Co . Waterford . This is a permanent position that reports directly to the onsite manager. We are looking for a trade electrician with multi-skilled attributes (training can also be offered to the correct candidate)

Job Responsibilities

• To undertake such maintenance repairs, installation or servicing work as detailed by Aramark / client specification.
• To comply with the Company’s procedures when working on a client’s premises.
• To observe and comply with all working practices and to ensure compliance with the appropriate health &safety statutory requirements at all times.
• To maintain all Company issued equipment in a clean, serviceable, presentable and safe manner.
• Ensure all Company paperwork is always completed accurately and legibly.
• Maintain a professional manner at all times and develop good working relationships with clients and other staff members.
• To locate & purchase items of equipment to facilitate the speedy & effective service to our clients.
• Ensure all professional qualifications required to undertake duties are up to date.
• Support the helpdesk in their role by effective communication and promote efficiency.
• Prepare permits and supervise sub-contractors carrying out work on site
• Ensure that work area is maintained in a clean and tidy state and dispose of all waste products in a suitable manner and in line with company procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be qualified in a Plumbing trade, with experience in general mechanical and building services maintenance (desirable but not essential).
• Plumbing trade background with strong evidence of multi-skilled Facilities Management (FM) maintenance delivery.
• Experience in BMS and control systems an advantage.
• Use of Microsoft Office Packages, in particular Excel competency, is essential.
• Flexibility – Possible weekend working on an ad hoc basis
• Clean Driving Licence is required.
