School Nursery Chef

Location: High School of Dundee Nursery, Mayfield Sports Centre, 193 Arbroath Road, Dundee, DD4 7HS
Contract: Permanent | 30 hours per week
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 2:30pm
Salary: £13.50 per hour
Occasional Saturday mornings (overtime available)
Are you passionate about preparing nutritious meals for young children in a caring and supportive environment? We’re looking for a dedicated School Nursery Chef to join our team at the High School of Dundee Nursery.
What You’ll Do:
- Prepare and serve healthy, balanced lunches for nursery-aged children
- Work in line with allergen guidelines and dietary requirements
- Manage stock levels, place orders, and receive weekly deliveries
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming kitchen environment
What We’re Looking For:
- At least 1 year of experience in a similar nursery or education-based chef role
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- A flexible, proactive approach and the ability to work independently
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
