We are currently recruiting a tradesperson who has plumbing experience working in a commercial environment. The successful candidate will be based at a client’s multi let high end scheme in the Dublin Docklands area. The ideal candidate will report to the Estate Manager and Facilities Manager also based full time on site.

Job Responsibilities

  • Job Summary / Key Responsibilities will include but are not limited to:
    Carry out preventive, condition based, and corrective maintenance.
    Hands on servicing of HIU’s (Heat Interchange Units) and HRU’s (Heat Recovery Units) in residential apartments. 
    Respond to emergency breakdowns onsite plumbing matters.
    Assist in the operation and maintenance of all on site mechanical plant and equipment.
    Supervise contractors onsite and review contractor reports.
    Escorting and assisting all on site 3rd party contractors
    Be capable of using own judgement where required to ensure issues are dealt with promptly.
    Observing all onsite and legislative rules and regulations in terms of Health and Safety.
    Perform daily site walkthroughs to verify correct operations on site.
    Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately and legibly and presented in a timely manner.
    Always maintain a professional manner and develop good working relationships with clients and other staff members.
    Carry out emergency procedures in the event of a fire, flood, and break in, accident etc.
    Further responsibilities may be added from time to time as the role evolves. For instance, desk moves, ad hoc building repairs, washroom repairs, doors, ironmongery, forklift operating, and event set up.

Qualifications

  • Knowledge of plumbing hot, cold and drainage water services.
    Knowledge of HVAC systems including BMS controls.
    Knowledge of gas fed equipment and safety gear.
    Knowledge of F-Gas regulations and asset tracking.
    Experience of working in a commercial environment five-star development.
    Team player but also ability to work on their own.
    Highly organised and motivated.
    Experience with I.T systems and email.
    The candidate must maintain constant awareness of the importance of the clients’ corporate image; ESG goals and targets and ensure all occupier and visitor to the building have a first-class experience.
    Able to maintain on-site records and report to the FM in a clear concise manner.
    Have a good “can do attitude” to work.
