We are seeking an experienced Senior Mechanical Engineer to join our growing Building Consultancy team in Ireland.

Aramark Building Consultancy is a multidisciplinary team specialising in Building MEP Engineering, Project Management, and Building Surveying. Our skilled professionals deliver solutions across sectors, including commercial, education, healthcare, and residential projects throughout Ireland.
Role Overview
Reporting to the Divisional Director of MEP. As a Senior Mechanical Engineer, you will lead and support various project stages, ensuring delivery meets the highest quality standards on time and within budget. You will be involved in diverse project types and sector. This role is ideal for a self-motivated, ambitious professional with a degree in mechanical engineering or building services.
The role will have flexible/hybrid working environment.
Job Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed specifications, schedules, drawings, and contract documents across all project stages.
- Manage the mechanical design delivery of projects, from concept through to completion.
- Represent Aramark Building Consultancy in client and project meetings.
- Undertake building surveying of mechanical and electrical systems for condition reports, defects, PPM, dilapidation, audit surveys etc.
- Develop and present planning, design, and reports.
Qualifications
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience as a Mechanical Engineer or Building Services Engineer.
- Comprehensive knowledge of Irish building regulations and industry standards.
- Expertise in mechanical engineering and building services design, including:
- Developing detailed design drawings, calculations, and specifications.
- Compiling technical schedules.
- A strong track record in delivering designs for Commercial, Education, and Residential sectors.
- Demonstrated ability to deliver low-energy, sustainable designs.
- Full, clean driving license with access to your vehicle.
- Experience managing contractors and overseeing on-site work, including commissioning and maintenance.
- Excellent communication, self-motivated, teamwork, and leadership skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services, or a related discipline.
- Chartership or working towards chartered status is highly desirable.
- A proven track record in the Irish building services industry.
