Job Description

This is a front of house role in a corporate office environment that requires a professional enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills who is reliable, hardworking, and flexible.  

Job Responsibilities

  • Provide front of house and reception services 
  • Handling the clients reception duties with care, commitment and always in a courteous manner 
  • Managing and responding to the client’s customer’s requirements and requests to ensure a high level of customer support 
  • Anticipate, welcome and announce visitor arrivals 
  • Management of visitor access cards in accordance with client policies. 
  • Operating a switchboard 
  • Telephone enquiries (internal & external) 
  • Distributing calls throughout the building, taking messages if necessary and e-mail relevant individuals without delay 
  • Handle couriers and post deliveries and collections 
  • Liaise with post room ensuring a co-ordinated approach to incoming and outgoing post management. 
  • Meeting room booking 
  • Keep reception area neat and tidy 
  • Check e-mails each morning and react accordingly 
  • Maintaining accurate and efficient management information systems 
  • Book taxis in line with the client’s policy and procedures 
  • Book couriers in line with the client’s policy 
  • Ensure all activities are carried out are in accordance with H and S policies 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 2 years similar experience 
  • Previous reception experience 
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite 
  • Professional oral and written communication skills
