Professional Services

We offer a range of landlord and tenant advisory and valuation services with a highly experienced team. We have a deep understanding of current and emerging commercial property market conditions.

We provide advisory for lease acquisitions, key lease events such as rent reviews, break options and disposals, regearing solutions, consultancy advice, leasehold, and freehold valuation. 

Job Description

Due to business growth, we are looking for a highly motivated, experienced, and enthusiastic Surveyor to join our Professional Services team.

Reporting to the Director of Professional Services, the ideal candidate will work on a full range of professional services including rent reviews, lease renewals, general lease advisory and valuations.

This role will provide an exciting opportunity for a result-oriented individual with excellent organisational and reporting skills. Main responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

Job Responsibilities

 

  • Rent review advisory and lease renewal negotiations.
  • Understanding team revenue targets, responsibility for revenue generation and achieving fee earning targets, commensurate with role.
  • Working alongside the Director of Professional Services with the valuation engagements, negotiations, inspections on all types of commercial property.
  • Creating robust well considered, accurate valuation assessments and advisory reports.
  • Undertaking personal developmental activities to broaden experience and knowledge, including CPD.
  • Supporting the Director in creating proposals and bids for new business pitches for professional services and property management.

Qualifications

  • Appropriate third level degree.
  • Chartered Surveyor (MRICS / MSCSI) or working towards RICS Chartership.
  • Ideally RICS Registered Valuer (or qualifications to register).
  • PSRA Licence Holder (or qualifications to register).
  • Proven experience with rent reviews and lease renewal negotiations.
  • Proven experience of undertaking Red Book compliant valuations and reports.
  • Full clean driving licence – it is necessary to own a car.
