Aramark Property are appointed as the Property and Estate Managers by our Client to manage a newly redeveloped mixed-use scheme at Grand Canal Dock, Dublin 4. We are seeking to appoint a Marketing Operations & Community Manager to support the public launch of the site, which is Dublin’s “newest destination for food, culture and community”.  This person will be based on-site full time and will report to the Estate Manager of Aramark Property and work closely with our clients Strategic Marketing and Placemaking lead and the wider Aramark Property Management team.  The role will involve executing day-to-day marketing activities for the entire site to include the community space. The ideal candidate will have approx. 5 years of marketing and community management experience in hospitality, destination marketing, and/or retail. The individual must have an ability to influence and build relationships with the retailers and community partners.

Job Responsibilities

Marketing & community management services for the Factory Community space at the Grand Canal Development. 

  • Responsibility for the daily operations of the community space in addition to planning, implementing, and coordinating events with local community groups.
  • Building relationships with local community groups to create pipeline of events, activation, and content within the Community space.
  • Create a communications plan including local marketing and distribution partnerships to drive event attendance and visitor traffic to the Community space 
  • Develop a strong relationship with the lead community occupier to create operational efficiencies.
  • Creating an inclusive and supportive community space by providing a hospitable experience and providing diverse and accessible programming.
  • Develop and run the booking process and develop any necessary documentation or contracts required to execute.
  • Review and approve requests for event space reservations to ensure a smooth operational and booking agreement process.
  • Operational budget oversight.
  • Interface and develop relationships with property teams, including facilities, events and security ensuring all act as one team.
  • Point of contact for Steering Group, calendaring meetings, setting agendas and distributing minutes.
  • Oversee contracting with marketing / PR Agencies.
  • Liaise with Client Strategic Marketing & Placemaking leed.
  • Be responsible for the management of the Community space.
  • Create a welcoming and enjoyable environment for visitors and staff who work within the building, through regular communications, helping to organise events (e.g. summer barbecues, Christmas events etc.).
  • To be vigilant to any Health & Safety risks at the Development regarding the use of the community space and bring any concerns to the attention of the Estate Manager.

Commercial Marketing: Execution of the commercial marketing strategy for the Development.

Responsibility for co-development (with Strategic Marketing & Placemaking Lead) of the overall marketing and events plan for the Development and implementation of this plan and other site activation initiatives. This will include: 

  • Working with retailers to promote retailer driven programming and strategies to increase sales, footfall and prolong dwell time.
  • This includes: Co-creation and deployment of strategic events and activation plans.
  • Run selection process and oversight of marketing and event vendors who may be hired to deliver the following services:
    • Merchandise
    • Promotional materials
    • Printed collateral
    • Event agencies
    • Social media agencies
    • Public relations agencies 
  • Development & management of digital channels i.e. executing website and social media updates 
  • Partnering with Strategic Marketing & Placemaking Lead and the client’s asset management team to define goals for ground floor, sharing monthly progress reports and meetings as necessary.
  • Inputting into annual budgets and quarterly re-forecasts
  • Identification of appropriate advertising channels and management of PR agency (in collaboration with the clients PR team) to ensure consistent messaging, build awareness, and drive footfall. 
  • Regular communications with commercial occupiers to encourage consistent content for digital channels – manage and schedule all content on the digital channels:
  • o    Facebook *6
  • o    Instagram *6
  • o    Websites *6
  • o    Ezines *6
  • Support the onsite management team with the daily smooth operations of the Estate.

Qualifications

•    Fluent English
•    Marketing Degree
•    At least 5 years’ experience in marketing, hospitality or similar environments
•    Excellent communication and organisational skills. 
•    Ambitious, energetic and motivated individual with ability to motivate and influence others.
•    Creative with good project management skills.
•    Digital marketing skills
•    A team player with excellent attention to detail
