Aramark Northern Europe is looking for a Kronos Application Specialist to join our IT Team in Dublin. Reporting to the Director of Enterprise Services, with a dotted line to Workforce Management Architect, the Kronos Application Specialist will coordinate all aspects of management and control of the Kronos application on a Business Unit level in a high volume, complex, centralised Workforce Management Group for the Northern European business. The role will involve participating in Workforce Management projects spanning multiple business units.

Job Responsibilities

  • The position will focus on implementing and administrating the Kronos suite of solutions according to specifications and deadlines. This role demands the ability to create robust solutions which fit within these guidelines and ensure speed to market, ease of deployment, integration and maximum supportability.
  • The successful candidate will be working with a team in which the ability to communicate technical concepts, project status, solution designs and issues in both written and verbal formats to an audience of varying technical knowledge and ability is critical to success. 
  • Responsible for the administration of user accounts and all policies related to management of data for same.
  • Become a subject matter expert on the integration of related, key systems (HR, Kronos Payroll, Hierarchy, etc).
  • Handle Pay Rule and Interface configurations.
  • Maintain Vacation Accrual and Attendance policies within Kronos.
  • Be the regional Subject Matter Export on all Kronos elements configured in the system.
  • Works with Global Kronos Support team to resolve issues.
  • Will be responsible for maintaining effective relations with key stakeholders across the NE functions to understand organisational objectives to actively plan and manage activity 
  • Will be responsible for enhancing Kronos knowledge and user compliance across the business which may involve assessing training needs and developing training and tool kits in conjunction with the L&D team
  • Demonstrate strong organisational and follow up skills to be able to engage all stakeholders and provide responses in a timely manner.
  • Develop project schedules to ensure that all critical tasks are identified and completed in a timely basis.  Initiate and coordinate each phase and task according to schedule.
  • Follows IT change management protocols through accurate monitoring of change requests including build, test, review, deploy. 
  • Work with Workforce Management team members and vendors to determine requirements for system enhancements to aid the field in use of the application.
  • Strong focus on customer/end-user service and solution delivery in a professional manner. 
  • Supports implementation projects.

Key Requirements

  • Requires 4-7 years’ experience in a similar role. 
  • This role requires an in-depth knowledge of a Functional & Application level discipline.  The candidate will provide technical guidance to team members, as well as across teams in areas of subject matter expertise. 
  • Strong analysis, organisation, communications, interpersonal skills 
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or closely related field in order to obtain necessary technical knowledge.
  • 3 years’ experience as a Kronos or other Payroll/Financial Systems Administrator
  • Experience in implementing, converting, upgrading and maintaining Kronos
  • Experience in the following: requirements gathering, business analysis, system configuration, design, testing, and support 
  • Demonstrate knowledge and experience around the development and management of the software lifecycle for commercial and custom applications and data environments.
  • Strong experience with change management processes.
  • ITIL process experience (specifically change management and configuration management).
  • Experience within the below applications is not necessary as training will be provided, however would be extremely advantageous: Kronos, Aramark Global Field Financials (GFF), HP Quality Centre, ServiceNow
