Title:  Kitchen Porter

Job Description

The kitchen porter is responsible daily for accepting deliveries from suppliers , store the deliveries away according  to  food safety and manual handling, manual pot washing, dish washing and sanitation procedures. 

Monday - thursday 8am - 4.30pm, Friday 8-3.30pm. Immediate start

Job Responsibilities

• Ensure all food hygiene regulations are adhered to, in particular H.A.C.C.P regulations
• Cleaning duties associated with service and related equipment and/or furniture.
• Accurate storage of food items and equipment after service.

    Maintain personal hygiene, appearance, and uniform to company regulations at     all times

    Other duties occasionally assigned by the Management team to ensure the smooth running of the department

      An interest in food and service

• Excellent customer service skills & courteous manner
• Ability to work with minimal direction and as part of a team.
• Ability to complete paperwork as assigned by your line manager
• Dedication and self-motivation
• Good timekeeping
• To contribute to maintaining high standards of personal hygiene

Qualifications

• • Previous experience with a catering environment desirable. On the job training will be given. Must acquire basic food hygiene qualification within firs

• Good understanding of English.
