Job Description
EAramark Property is currently recruiting for a JUNIOR ELECTRICAL TECHNICAN to join our team. The
successful candidate will report to the team LEAD and will be responsible for electrical work serving
the Aramark Property client portfolio. You will be tasked with a daily list of job tasks/tickets which must be completed. You should have the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of team. You will be required to work across many types and locations of properties and will perform various electrical and general maintenance tasks.
You should have good timekeeping & organisational skills and ensure that you prepare correctly in advance regarding the necessary supplies and materials required by the task / ticket in question.
Job Responsibilities
- Complete multi-disciplined types of electrical tasks both inside and outside designated
properties such as.
Service, Repair, and maintenance of client's electrical equipment
Emergency and general light testing
PAT Testing
Engage in the troubleshooting, corrective repair of medium and low voltage
equipment.
Fault finding and diagnosing problems on equipment.
Small to medium size electrical project installs.
Basic mechanical knowledge (preference not essential).
Ensure specified standard of work is maintained and all site logs, records and documentation
are kept up to date.
Exercising a good level of initiative and independence on site to resolve issues .
Regular and timely communication with the Property Managers and if necessary,
collaboration with workers and other professionals during designated works.
Be willing and able to drive company vehicle responsibly to properties .
Ensure all hand and power tools used by the maintenance team comply with all relevant
Health and Safety regulations and are stored in a safe and tidy manner.
Be vigilant to any Health, Safety and Welfare risks in the workplace and bring any concerns
to the attention of your manager or Health & Safety Representative.
Qualifications
- National craft certificate / time-served
Excellent communication and organisation skills essential
Minimum 1+ years' post qualification experience
Proven ability of delivering Electrical Services / HVAC maintenance
Emergency lighting, MV/LV, safe electric testing, thermal imaging experience would be an
advantage - further CPD & Maintenance training will be provided on the job.
Ambitious and proactive with proven experience as an electrician.
Experience using hand and electrical tools.
Ability to read technical manuals and drawings.
Good communication & organisational skills
Customer focused
Team Player demonstrating flexibility
Full, clean, drivers’ licence.
