Title:  General Maintenance with plumbing experience

Job Description

Aramark Property are currently recruiting a tradesperson who has plumbing experience working in a commercial environment. The successful candidate will be based at a client’s office block building in Dublin Docklands 40 hours per week along with five other Aramark Property employees. The ideal candidate will report to the Property & Facilities Operations Manager also based full time on site. The role involves planned, predictive and corrective maintenance and repairs to prolong the useful life of the building’s essential plant and equipment. 

Job Responsibilities

 Carry out preventive, condition based, and corrective maintenance.
• Plumbing experience advantageous
• Respond to emergency breakdowns onsite plumbing matters.
• Assist in the operation and maintenance of all on site mechanical plant and equipment.
• Supervise contractors onsite and review contractor reports.
• Escorting and assisting all on site 3rd party contractors 
• Be capable of using own judgement where required to ensure issues are dealt with promptly.
• Observing all onsite and legislative rules and regulations in terms of Health and Safety.
• Perform daily site walkthroughs to verify correct operations on site.
• Ensure all Company paperwork is completed accurately and legibly at all times and presented 
in a timely manner.
• Participate in the Company’s out of hours’ emergency call out rota as required. Over-time 
required when necessary.
• Maintain a professional manner at all times and develop good working relationships with 
clients and other staff members.
• Carry out other duties as required to include, painting; plumbing; ad-hoc repairs
• Manage the distribution of any keys to contractors and ensure their safe return. 
• Carry out emergency procedures in the event of a fire, flood, and break in, accident etc.

Qualifications

• 5 years experience in general maintenance; plumbing installation and repairs
• Familiarity of mechanical systems including Air handling units, boilers, pumps and ventilation, water systems would be an advantage.

Skills required for the role
Knowledge of plumbing hot, cold and drainage water services.
✓ Knowledge of HVAC systems including BMS controls.
✓ Knowledge of gas fed equipment and safety gear.
✓ Knowledge of SFG 20 and CIBSE guidelines.
✓ Knowledge of F-Gas regulations and asset tracking.
✓ Experience of working in a commercial office environment
five-star development.
✓ Team player but also ability to work on their own.
✓ Highly organised and motivated.
✓ Experience with I.T systems and email.
✓ The candidate must maintain constant awareness of the importance of the clients’ corporate 
image; ESG goals and targets and ensure all occupier and visitor to the building have a firstclass experience.
✓ Able to maintain on-site records and report to the FM in a clear concise manner.
✓ Have a good “can do attitude” to work
