Job Description
We are seeking an experienced and professional Front of House Supervisor to join our team in Dublin, Ireland. In this permanent position, you will oversee the front-of-house operations, ensuring exceptional customer service whilst maintaining efficient and organised procedures. You will lead and support a team of front-of-house staff, creating a welcoming environment for all guests and clients. The successful candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, excellent people skills, and a commitment to delivering outstanding service standards.
- Supervise and manage front-of-house staff, providing guidance, support, and constructive feedback to ensure high performance and professional conduct • Oversee daily operations including seating arrangements, reservations, and guest flow to optimise customer experience • Handle customer enquiries, complaints, and concerns with professionalism and empathy, resolving issues promptly and effectively
- Manage cash handling, till operations, and financial reconciliation in accordance with organisational procedures • Create and manage staff rosters and schedules, ensuring adequate coverage and compliance with labour regulations • Conduct staff induction and training programmes to maintain service standards and operational excellence • Monitor adherence to health, safety, and hygiene regulations, ensuring a safe environment for staff and guests
- Maintain detailed records of incidents, customer feedback, and operational metrics for reporting and analysis • Liaise with back-of-house teams and management to ensure seamless service delivery • Implement and uphold company policies and procedures, promoting a culture of professionalism and accountability • Identify training needs and support staff development to facilitate career progression
Qualifications
**Required Skills and Experience:** • Proven supervisory or team leadership experience in a customer-facing environment • Excellent customer service skills with a focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences • Strong people management and interpersonal abilities • Proficiency in cash handling and till operations • Experience with staff scheduling, roster management, and workforce planning
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Ability to multitask and prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environment • Problem-solving and conflict resolution capabilities • Attention to detail and organisational skills **Desirable Skills and Experience:**
- Experience in hospitality, restaurant, or hotel operations • Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems and reservation software • Experience in staff training and mentoring • Knowledge of food and beverage service standards • Experience with customer management systems • Demonstrated ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining composure
