Job Description

Aramark Food-services are currently recruiting for a Front Line Manager for a Dublin city centre business unit with 650 customers on site.  This hands on individual will assume full responsibility for delivering a highly innovative food offer and delivering exceptional service to our customers.  This role is suited to an experienced catering professional passionate about food and excellent service.

Your key responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

• Day to day management of the unit and on-site catering team based on site.
• To set annual budgets for the unit and achieve them.
• To maintain financial information system as required by Aramark and the client.
• Implementation and maintenance of appropriate procedures on site as outlined by HR, Q&S, Internal Audit, and Opxcentral.
• To assume overall responsibility for Quality and Safety compliance on site.
• Monitor and evaluate site performance and productivity.
• To maintain good communications and working relationships with your client, key customers and all staff.
• Consistently and proactively review financial and operational performance of contract to ensure the achievement of all business and financial targets.
• Identify opportunities at unit level and investigate potential.
• To manage recruitment, training and development of management team on site and to provide regular feedback on performance.
• To attend operations/management meetings

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Catering/Professional Cookery.
• 5 years operational experience at least one at management level in food service/restaurant operation.
• Excellent front of house skills & attention to detail.
• A passion for food with a clear, concise customer service focus.
• Excellent people management/communication skills with staff and clientele.
• Flexibility and ability to work on own initiative.
• Ability to take the lead and develop the business on a daily basis.
• Strong financial acumen with the ability to manage food costing and ensure budgets are met
• Hands on food prep and cooking experience.
• Professionalism, neat appearance on a daily basis.
• Problem Solving/resolving abilities.
• Keen time management and ability to multi task.
