Job Description

The Cleaning Contract Manager is responsible for overseeing the delivery of high-quality cleaning and facilities services on site. You will manage and support Supervisors and cleaning teams, maintain strong communication with the Operations Manager, and ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

 

Job Responsibilities

  • Daily Operations

    • Work closely with the Site Supervisor and share updates on a daily basis.
    • Complete a site briefing each day and share it with the cleaning team on site.
    • Oversee the work of Area Cleaning Supervisors and cleaners to ensure all tasks meet the agreed standard.
    • Complete regular spot checks to ensure service quality and compliance.
    • Support the Industrial Cleaning Team when required.

     

    2. Health & Safety

    • Take responsibility for health and safety on site.
    • Immediately report any hazards, safety issues, or incidents to the General Services Manager.
    • Ensure all team members wear full uniform and PPE.
    • Make sure health and safety requirements are always met and, where possible, exceeded.

     

    3. Staff Management

    • Recruit, train, and manage staff.
    • Carry out induction training for all new staff.
    • Provide operational training in line with job specifications.
    • Ensure training records are completed and stored in the Site Manual.
    • Hold regular job chats and appraisals with team members.

Qualifications

 Site & Contract Management

  • Ensure site manuals are in place, up to date, and contain correct information.
  • Operate within budget and keep accurate records for payroll, orders, and contract pricing.
  • Audit contract performance regularly to make sure SLAs and KPIs are being met.
  • Ensure supplies are used correctly and stored safely on site.

 

5. Client & Management Communication

  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with clients.
  • Respond quickly to any issues or complaints.
  • Provide accurate and timely updates and reports to the Operation Manager.

 

6. Flexibility

  • Be aware that due to the nature of the business, duties may change as required by Aramark.
  • Support additional operational needs as they arise.
