Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and reliable Catering Assistant to join our dynamic catering team in Dublin and Wicklow, Ireland. • Serve food and beverages with a warm, professional, and customer-focused approach - Provide outstanding customer service to all customers and guests, ensuring their satisfaction and comfort - Assist with food preparation and fundamental kitchen duties under guidance
• Support the set-up and clear-down of dining and service areas, maintaining efficiency and organisation - Operate tills and handle cash transactions accurately and responsibly where required - Maintain all areas in a clean, tidy, and well-presented condition at all times - Adhere strictly to food safety, hygiene, and health and safety procedures and regulations
• Assist with stock replenishment, inventory management, and the receipt of deliveries - Work collaboratively and supportively with the wider catering team to ensure seamless service delivery - Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to support colleagues and adapt to changing priorities - Contribute proactively to the team's success by identifying opportunities for improvement and taking initiative

Qualifications

• A positive, enthusiastic, and can-do attitude with genuine passion for delivering excellent service - Strong communication and people skills with the ability to interact professionally with diverse individuals - Excellent customer service skills and a commitment to customer satisfaction - Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively as part of a team - Good attention to detail with a proactive and organised approach to work
• Flexibility, reliability, and willingness to support the wider team when needed - Basic numeracy skills and the ability to handle cash transactions accurately - Physical stamina and capability to stand for extended periods during shifts - Desirable: Previous experience in a catering, hospitality, retail, or customer service environment
• Desirable: Knowledge of food safety, hygiene, and health and safety best practices - Willingness to undertake induction training and develop your skill base within the role - Punctuality and reliability with a strong commitment to attendance
