Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and detail-oriented **Catering Assistant** to join our dynamic team in **Ballyogan, Ireland**. This is an excellent opportunity for a reliable and organised individual who is passionate about delivering exceptional food service and creating positive experiences for our customers. If you are flexible, collaborative, and thrive in a fast-paced catering environment, we would love to hear from you. - Assist with general kitchen duties, including washing, cleaning, and organising equipment and workstations to maintain the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness - Support the efficient day-to-day running of catering operations across assigned areas

• Perform food preparation tasks under supervision, following all recipes and food safety protocols with precision - Manage stock replenishment, inventory tracking, and assist with ordering supplies as required - Follow all health and safety procedures and food safety regulations consistently - Work collaboratively with team members to ensure smooth and efficient service delivery
• Adapt flexibly to changing priorities, staffing requirements, and service demands - Contribute constructively to the team environment and support colleagues in achieving service excellence - Maintain a professional demeanour and positive attitude towards customers and colleagues at all times - Handle kitchen equipment safely and responsibly, reporting any maintenance issues promptly

Qualifications

**The Successful Candidate Will Have:** **Required Skills and Experience:** - Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or customer service (desirable)

• Flexible and adaptable approach to work with a genuine willingness to learn - Excellent communication and people skills - Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team - Strong organisational skills and meticulous attention to detail - Positive, customer-focused attitude with a commitment to service excellence
• Physical stamina and ability to work on your feet for extended periods - Reliability, punctuality, and a professional demeanour - Basic food preparation and cooking knowledge - Sound understanding of health and safety procedures in a kitchen environment **Desirable Qualifications:**
• Food Safety and Hygiene Certificate (Level 2) or equivalent knowledge - Experience in a busy catering or hospitality setting - Knowledge of stock management and inventory control - Familiarity with kitchen equipment and food handling practices
