An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our vibrant team at Ireland’s number one Visitor and Events Venue. Located in the heart of the working St. James's Gate Brewery in Dublin, Guinness Storehouse is one of the most exciting and unusual Dublin conference & events venues, offering breathtaking views of the Dublin city skyline and the ability to cater for up to 2000 guests.


The Beer Stores Manager is responsible for the effective management of all aspects of beer and beverage stock operations across the venue. This role ensures seamless coordination of keg orders, deliveries, stock management, and inventory controls while upholding the highest standards of quality, service, and health & safety. The role requires strong leadership to manage a small team, oversee stock distribution to all bars, liaise with key stakeholders, and ensure the venue's beverage needs are met efficiently and cost-effectively. Additionally, the Beer Stores Manager is responsible for ordering equipment for the bars, managing the servicing and maintenance of bar equipment, and overseeing financial aspects such as budgeting, invoicing, and stock valuation. (Not Limited to) 

Job Responsibilities

•    Stock Management & Ordering
o    Manage and oversee all beer, beverage, and dry goods stock levels across the venue, to all departments. 
o    Place accurate and timely keg and beverage orders to ensure adequate stock supply.
o    Ensure all areas have the appropriate amount of stock to carry out daily operations.
o    Coordinate and oversee all deliveries, ensuring correct stock levels are received and discrepancies are addressed.
o    Use stock systems to create all purchase orders and maintain up-to-date product information.
o    Stock all bars as required, ensuring efficient stock rotation to maintain product quality and minimise waste.
o    Conduct monthly stocktaking of all beverages and dry goods to accurately value stocks across the business.
o    Ensure all storage areas are clean and tidy at all times and that a safe working environment is maintained.
o    Work with suppliers to source new products, enquire about lead times, and resolve any purchasing issues.
o    Liaise with accounts to ensure suppliers receive payments on time and budgets are adhered to.

Qualifications

•    Previous experience in stock management, bar operations, or beverage logistics within the hospitality industry.
•    Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage and motivate a small team.
•    Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
•    Strong financial acumen, with experience in budgeting, invoicing, and cost control.
•    Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
•    Knowledge of health & safety regulations, licensing laws, and compliance requirements.
•    Strong attention to detail, particularly in inventory management and stock controls.
•    Proficient in using stock management software and Microsoft Office applications.
•    Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings, as required.
•    A passion for delivering high-quality service and maintaining exceptional operational standards.
Desirable Skills
•    Previous experience in a high-volume hospitality venue.
•    Knowledge of beer products, including storage and handling best practices.
•    Experience in cost control and waste reduction strategies.
