Job Responsibilities
Greet customers warmly and guide them to their tables
Provide detailed information about menu items, including dishes, ingredients, and allergens
Take accurate food and beverage orders and input them correctly
Serve food and drinks efficiently, professionally, and in a timely manner
Check in with customers to ensure satisfaction and promptly report any issues to the Floor Manager
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of tables and service areas at all times
Adhere to all health, safety, and hygiene regulations
Assist with the setup and breakdown of the event or dining space
Qualifications
Customer service skills: Friendly, approachable, and attentive
Communication: Clear, confident, and polite when interacting with guests and colleagues
Multitasking: Ability to manage multiple tables and tasks in a fast-paced environment
Teamwork: Collaborative approach with kitchen and front-of-house teams
Attention to detail: Ensures accuracy in orders and a high standard of service delivery
Time management: Works efficiently during busy service periods
Problem-solving: Handles complaints, queries, or special requests calmly and professionally
Experience & Additional Requirements
Previous experience in hospitality or food service is desirable
Basic knowledge of food safety and hygiene practices
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings and weekends as required
