About the Role

You will be tasked with a daily list of job tasks/tickets which must be completed. You should have the ability to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. You will be required to work across many types and locations of properties and will be responsible for delivering professional, safe, and compliant plumbing and mechanical maintenance services across. The role focuses on the installation, maintenance, and repair of plumbing, heating, and gas systems. There will also be a requirement to provide support on other general building maintenance tasks as part of a multi-skilled mobile facilities support team.

Job Responsibilities

  • Take full ownership of performance across a widely dispersed property portfolio, ensuring alignment with client driven strategic objectives
  • Maintain consistency in standards, processes, and reporting across all locations while allowing for regional variation where required
  • Ensure strong visibility and control across the portfolio despite geographic spread, using systems, reporting, and on-site engagement as well as ensuring consistent operational standards
  • Monitor property performance and implement improvement strategies where required
  • Prepare and manage budgets across multiple properties
  • Monitor income and expenditure across full portfolio and ensure cost control
  • Support rent/service charge collection and minimise arrears
  • Review financial reports and provide insights to senior stakeholders
  • Build and maintain strong tenant relationships across all locations
  • Act as escalation point for tenant issues
  • Liaise with stakeholders, contractors, and clients across full property portfolio
  • Oversee day-to-day operations across all properties
  • Manage contractors and service providers across different regions
  • Ensure planned and reactive maintenance is delivered efficiently
  • Conduct regular site inspections
  • Ensure all properties meet relevant H&S standards
  • Travel regularly to key locations to maintain oversight
  • Implement established processes across full regional portfolio
  • Manage budgets, timelines, and contractor performance
  • Compile regular client reports
  • Maintain accurate records using property management systems
  • Maintain clear and consistent reporting lines to line manager at all times

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in property management (multi-site or regional preferred)
  • Strong financial and budgeting skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and prioritise workload as well as a good team player
  • Experience managing contractors
  • Willingness to travel regularly

Preferred Skills

  • Relevant degree in Property, Real Estate, or Business
  • Experience working across different regulatory environments
  • Familiarity with property management software systems
